This model DCR-1540PRO high definition telephoto lens is designed to extend the focal length of the camers's lens one and a half times or more, bringing a distant object really very close. New lens formula of 2-group/4-element, using hi-index optical glasses, made it possible to achieve an amazing resolution power of 340 line/mm ( at center, MTF30%) and low dispersion. Yet, it increased the light transmittance at corners.
